Last updated: 2022/03/18

The protection of your personal data is of the utmost concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (DSGVO, TKG 2003). In this we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

Contacting us

If you contact us by website contact form, by telephone, mobile phone or by e-mail, the information you provide will be stored for 12 months in order to process your request and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

Data storage

We would like to point out that we temporarily store the IP address of the subscriber for the purpose of simpler purchasing process and for later contract processing.

In addition, for the purpose of contract processing, the following data is also stored by us: name, company name, company abbreviation, address, telephone number, mobile phone number, fax number, email address, payment conditions, credit card number or IBAN/BIC of the bank account or billing address (depending on payment conditions), VAT number, contract type and billing cycle, as well as whether the customer is a private person. The data provided by you are necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or for the implementation of required pre-contractual measures. Without these data we cannot conclude the contract with you. Your data will not be transmitted to third parties, with the exception of transmission of credit card data or IBAN/BIC data to the processing bank institutes / payment service providers for the purpose of charging the purchase price, as well as to our tax consultant for the fulfilment of our tax obligations.

With test accounts, the entered data (provided by the test user) will be deleted one month after the end of the test period unless the test user enters into a contract. After interruption of the purchasing process, the data stored by us will be deleted immediately. In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will continue to be stored until the expiry of the tax retention period (7 years).

The data name, company name, address, products purchased and the date of purchase shall be stored beyond this until the expiry of the product liability (10 years). The data processing is based on the legal provisions of § 96 (3) TKG and article 6 subparagraph 1a (consent) and/or b (necessary for contract performance) of the DSGVO.

Cookies

Our website does not automatically set so-called personalized cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device using the browser. They are not causing any damage.

When displaying the start page, a temporary PHP session ID cookie is created which does not contain any personal data and is deleted when the browser window is closed. This cookie is necessary to use the modern features of the website.

If you use single sign-on as the contract partner, a cookie with a period of validity of one year will be created which will store your user name and the encrypted password (hashed with random salt). This cookie is sent from your browser only to our website and is required to be able to log in automatically.

If you do not want this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies. You can then restrict the creation of cookies to individual cases. In this case, however, you may not be able to use single sign-on. Furthermore, if cookies are completely deactivated, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

Website Analytics

Our website does not use an external web analytics service. Your IP address is recorded locally on the web server and temporarily stored for one week to combat and report denial of service and other attacks and then pseudonymized by deleting the last 8 bits. This means that only a rough localization is possible.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 subparagraph 3 TKG and article 6 subparagraph 1a (consent) or 1f (legitimate interest) of the DSGVO.

Our concern in the sense of the DSGVO (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our website as well as the defense against denial-of-service and other attacks on our web server. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymised.

The pseudonymized user data is stored for a period of 2 years.

Your rights

You fundamentally have rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
